For years, Michael managed his Myrtle Beach short-term rental properties remotely from New York. He knows exactly what that looks like — maintenance calls at midnight, contractors who don't show, cleaners you can't verify, and the constant nagging feeling that something is wrong at a property you haven't physically seen in weeks.
He also knows the math: property management companies charge 20–30% of gross revenue, hand you a portal, and give you the illusion of control. Most self-managing remote owners aren't looking for that. They're looking for a person they can trust — someone who actually knows the market, knows what a renovation problem looks like, and treats their property like it matters.
When Michael relocated to Myrtle Beach full-time, he launched the Local Partner Service to be the resource he never had as a remote owner. The relocation story isn't marketing — it's the reason the service exists.
Beyond the STR work, Michael is a licensed REALTOR® in both New York and South Carolina, a former Fortune 500 brand advisor, a small business consultant, and a nonprofit founder. His 501(c)(3) scholarship fund and ongoing fundraising work for Toys for Tots reflect the same philosophy that drives his business — show up, do the work, deliver results.
